Market & media analyst
As a market & media analyst you assist our product development team in research-based market and customer needs analyses. They investigate the market development in online, mobile and cross-media area in national and international environments. You job entails the conception, development and preparation of market research-based development and marketing argumentation.
Responsibilities:
- Project management and the conduct of your own primary studies with a focus on online marketing technologies and marketing efficiency. This entails full project coordination, from development of the research method, test hypotheses and questionnaire to technical implementation, field time control, quantitative data analysis to preparation and presentation of the results.
- Close cooperation with the sales team, publishing houses, online marketers and media agencies - especially in an advisory role, including on the basis of secondary analyses of market media and online studies such as AGOF internet facts, communication networks or typology of desires.
- Provision of data and argumentation for sales pitches and strategic corporate decisions.
Requirements:
- At least three years of job experience in the area of media, advertising research or online marketing.
- A degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Media Sciences, Communication Science or related subject area or comparable education.
- An affinity for numbers, an analytical approach to work and the ability to logically and easily explain and talk about complex issues.
- An open, outgoing personality who enjoys presenting and discussing results both internally and externally as well as independently developing new ideas for studies and issues.
- Independent approach to work and knowledge of the national and international media and advertising landscape.
- A very good working knowledge of English
